About this Sacred Grove

This temple is termed as a very powerful one and the prime Protector God for the local villagers.  Large number of Devotees visit the temple during the festival days in the Tamil month Aadi and the villager’s offerings here include cooking of the Pongal rice.  During the last week of May month, villagers take out a procession and in this temple, Mandala Puja practice is also observed.
